Together. For you.

Keep track of ME/CFS, on your own terms or together

weforme is a calm, low-stimulus app for everyone living with ME/CFS or caring for someone who does. If you are affected yourself, you keep an eye on how you feel, crashes and pacing at your own pace. If you care for someone, you document it together in the care circle. You decide whether you use the app just for yourself or bring others in.

An initiative by Degeler Consulting, without scientific or medical validity and not a medical device: the app documents and describes, it does not warn or advise. For the next step we are looking for partners and scientific cooperation.

Just want a look? Start a no-commitment trial run, without signing up. The demo care circle deletes itself automatically after 7 days.

Why weforme exists

Making more room for what matters, that is our goal.

Living with ME/CFS or supporting someone who has it means shaping everyday life carefully and down to the detail. Good organisation, clear routines and a shared overview play an important part.

This is where weforme comes in: a calm, central place where information comes together, from daily routines and personal wellbeing to observations and changes.

Information can be recorded easily, organised clearly and shared with relatives and carers when needed. Everyone stays well informed, working together gets easier and everyday life can be planned together and ahead.

For more clarity, good teamwork and more room for what really counts.

Why free?

Helping people with ME/CFS matters deeply to us. weforme is a non-commercial project: no subscription, no advertising, no selling of data.

For you, whether affected or caring

If you are affected yourself

Wellbeing, crashes, records and pacing at your own pace. The app is deliberately low-stimulus.

If you care for someone

Documentation in one place, visible to everyone in the care circle. All the important information is together.

What weforme can do

Use the care circle just for yourself, or share it: one person being cared for, several carers. You document together, new members join via an invitation link.
Severity, sensitivities to stimuli, known triggers, routines, agreed communication signs, an emergency plan and emergency contacts, always reachable via the emergency symbol at the top and shown prominently during a crash.
Fill it in once, adjust it when needed. The key care information on one page, to print or hand to new carers, without burdening the person concerned with questions.
Record the start, severity and suspected triggers. While a crash is active, the app shows your emergency plan.
Entries with your own categories and perceived strain. The terms of the respective category are shown openly and can be ticked several at a time, each one becomes an entry of its own. For food you enter the amount in grams, for drinks in millilitres, both with a daily total. Plus wellbeing & symptoms with your own extendable symptom list to tick (with a level if you want) and a free field, sleep quality and the quality of rest periods during the day.
A calm board of picture symbols for anyone who finds talking too tiring: hold up the board, tap, done. The tap is recorded in the diary straight away, with the time and the category. You decide yourselves per care circle which symbols appear.
The plan of what should be taken: with dose, usual intake and a note on personal tolerance/reaction. You document the actual intake in the diary. Deliberately without reminders.
The attention-rest rhythm with history, next-day marking and a retrospective review of your own data.
Short handovers and notes between carers in one shared place, so nothing slips through the cracks in everyday life.
Share out tasks in the care circle and tick them off: who takes on what, by when. If you like, you can have a short notification sent as soon as something has been assigned to you. Off by default, and for tasks involving medication deliberately never. Recurring things like laundry day repeat daily, weekly or monthly if you want, for tasks around medication deliberately never.
Invite people around you who help in everyday life, for example with cooking, laundry, shopping or rides. They only see these tasks and sign up for them. They never see care data.
A simple place for small good moments: a smile, a good sip, two minutes with the window open. Holding on to what does you good in everyday life.
A daily overview as a table with separate columns for toilet, food & drink and medication, to print or save as PDF. Wellbeing as a day-by-day curve, with a table for symptoms and notes, limited to a period if you like. A print-friendly report for medical appointments with the care profile, wellbeing over time, the medication log and a summary of the diary. Everything also as CSV for your records. Search and filters show specific topics: all drinking times, when a particular medication was given, or on which days a symptom was present.
A library of briefly summarised notes from the ME/CFS guidelines, presented in an accessible way.
Everyone chooses in the settings which features they use. What you don't need can be hidden, so the app stays clear and calm.
weforme is available in ten languages (German, English, French, Spanish, Romanian, Hungarian, Polish, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish). You can switch the language at the bottom of every page.
Put weforme on your home screen like an app, on iOS and Android. It then starts in its own window without an address bar. Step-by-step instructions are inside the app. On the iPhone this is also what makes task notifications work at all.
If you like, we send you a short email when there is a new version, with what has improved. Optional, off by default, and you can turn it off again in your profile at any time.

What weforme deliberately cannot do

These limits are intentional. As soon as an app reminds, warns or recommends, it becomes a medical device, with regulations and a real risk of harm if it fails.

No reminders

The app does not remind you about medication. A missed alarm would be a real risk; the plan stays with the doctor and the carers.

No predictions or recommendations

The review only describes retrospectively what you have entered. It never says “do less today” or “high risk”.

No research upload

No data is collected for research. What you enter belongs to you. If there are requests in future, you decide yourselves what you provide. You can export your data yourselves at any time.

No official data, no vital signs

No social security number, no date of birth, no address, no smartwatch values. What is not stored cannot be lost.

What comes next

What we are working on. Not in the app yet; order and timing may change.

Several care profiles

If you support several people, you switch between their care circles without signing in again.

Review on one page

One day on one page, with crashes, plus a monthly comparison of crashes and rest periods. Still purely descriptive, without judgement.

Research only with a partner and your consent

Today we collect no data for research. If a cooperation with a scientific partner comes about, you decide yourselves whether and what you share voluntarily.

Tell us via the feedback button in the app what helps you or what is missing. That is how the next version comes about.

Where to get help in Austria

weforme does not replace advice or treatment. These organisations can help:

Austrian Society for ME/CFS

Your data stays your data

All care content is stored encrypted on a dedicated server in the EU, only for this app. Everyone sees only their own care circle. No tracking, no ads, no sharing with third parties. You can delete your account and care circle yourself at any time. Details in the privacy policy.
